Introducing 4070™
The Benchmark for Better Weather Decisions
4070 brings your weather app and model site together, with local forecasts, radar, outlooks and the tools to investigate what the guidance is saying. It is a weather platform from Weather Decision Solutions LLC, built for people who want to understand the next storm and follow it with others who care just as much.
Say it “forty seventy.”
If you already use our weather platform, this is the new name and identity for the product you know. The company behind it is the same, and you can continue using your current account. The brand change itself does not change your subscription.
Follow the forecast back to your place
An impressive model map usually raises a more useful question: what could this mean where I live?
Start with a saved location and its daily and hourly forecast. Open Model Explorer to inspect the guidance, compare compatible models at the same forecast hour, or compare earlier and newer runs to see what shifted. Plumes help you examine the spread at a supported U.S. point. That eye-catching snowfall total deserves a look at how much company it has.
When a storm gets closer, radar brings the observations into view, with lightning and warnings alongside. Forecast frames are identified separately so you can follow the transition from observed weather into short-range guidance.
For the bigger picture, two-week, four-week and nine-month outlooks help you follow regional patterns. The farther out you look, the more the conversation belongs around patterns and uncertainty. A regional signal months ahead does not tell you whether a storm will hit your street.

Follow it with your people
Weather is more fun when you can talk it through with someone who has been watching the same setup.
Weather Madness with Henry Margusity and Delaware Weather Guy with Brandon Dougherty bring recognizable voices and communities to 4070. Their optional memberships add published forecasts, their reasoning and a place to share the weather with other members. Forecast coverage varies by forecaster.
4070 Pro stands on its own. You can use the model tools you saw in a forecaster’s video without buying that forecaster’s membership. If you want their published outlooks and community too, you can explore that separately.
Why those four digits?
40°N, 70°W is a familiar offshore benchmark for Northeast coastal storms. For people who love winter weather, it brings to mind the next model run, a shifting rain-snow line and the wait to see how the pieces come together.
The benchmark is a reference point. Temperature, storm structure and the full track still determine what happens at your location. That habit of checking the whole picture is part of what we want 4070 to stand for.
The people behind it are Henry Margusity and Watson Warriner, co-founders of Weather Decision Solutions. WDS remains the company and business weather partner. 4070 is the product bringing the tools, forecasts and people together.
